North American Meat Processors Association is holding a training class in Fort Collins, CO, August 5-7.  The course is approved for 22 hours of continuing education credit by the American Culinary Federation.

The course is called the Center of the Plate Training and covers meat specifications, uses, and quality parameters for beef, pork, lamb, veal, and poultry.  The North American Meat Processors Association have been holding the class in various locations for the pass 5 years and have educated over 300 people.

Today at the ACF National Conference in Orlando, Florida, the ACF Colorado Chef’s Association (ACFCCA) was named ACF National Chapter of the Year! ACFCCA has all of its members to thank for making this possible. We, as a chapter, should be proud of this prestigious honor. From the President, the Board of Directors, the Education Fund Board, and the administrative staff we say “Thank You” and may we continue to move forward and make our chapter stronger and do great things.
